Soft Tissue Lesions

Soft tissue lesions consist of lumps or masses that arise from fat, muscle, or connective tissue. They are often benign, but may occasionally indicate a more serious underlying condition.

Timely diagnosis through physical examination and imaging helps determine whether removal is necessary, especially for growing or symptomatic lesions.

• Lipomas (fatty tumors)
• Fibromas
• Sarcomas (rare soft tissue cancers)

• Clinical evaluation and imaging
• Biopsy if malignancy is suspected
• Surgical removal is recommended for symptomatic or growing lesions
